TO ALL PLAYERS

Be advised that if you are suspended and play in the game you have been suspended for, you will be given an additional 2 game suspension. The phrase "I talked to Tom (or John or Dave or whomever) and he said it was OK to play" will be honored but when it is checked out and found to be not true (in other words - a LIE) the additional games will be added on. Also, the league has the option of forfeiting the game to the opposing team. Two players have been caught in the past week alone while another tried but decided to sit out his game when advised by the ref. LIHO officials take these suspensions very seriously and will verify every players eligibility. This not only protects LIHO officials but more importantly protects you the honest fair-minded player out to have some fun in a competitive game that you love. Thank you for your cooperation.

GAME MISCONDUCTS

Note: Under Adult Hockey rules, a player receiving a game misconduct penalty shall automatically serve a minimum one-game suspension to be served at the team’s next game. A MATCH PENALTY prohibits a player from playing in any Adult Hockey League contest until the suspension is completed.

1/28/07 RULE UPDATE: Any player who is assessed a second game misconduct in a season (including playoffs) will serve a two(2) game suspension.   A player assessed a third game misconduct in a season (including playoffs) will serve a five(5) game suspension
